I’m trying to understand what makes images that stand out for me like this one and whether this is the same for everyone.

For me its the softness, maybe from the small range of colours or the misty background and the variety of shapes and diameter of the tall trees. The foreground doesn’t help at all to me.

Why not use a comment to put your feelings down.
